The JAM Team recently announced a Family Co-Pay Scholarship for families facing difficulties in making their weekly co-payment through the Child Care Works (CCW) program. Applications are available for members of the ECE Learning Alliance and are available on the ECE Learning Alliance website.

The goal of this scholarship program is to assist families who are struggling to make their weekly co-payment to their child care provider. Providers can recommend families via this application process, and, if approved, receive a lump-sum payment from the JAM Team Foundation to cover that family's co-payments for one year. In addition, funds can be used to pay any outstanding co-payment balance.

This scholarship program will help keep children in their current child care setting, allowing them continuity of care and enabling them to continue their educational and social development in a setting that in comfortable and safe for them, while also being conducive to the work schedules of their parents.

Child care organizations can submit applications for multiple families up to the scholarship maximum for their organization type, which are as follows:

• Child Care Centers are eligible for up to $3,000 in co-pay assistance
• Group Child Care Homes are eligible for up to $2,000 in co-pay assistance
• Family Child Care Homes are eligible for up to $1,000 in co-pay assistance
